When I first got the message about photographing Lindsay and Matt's wedding, I could not have been more excited to work with this adorable couple. Their dear friend Marisa, a childhood friend of mine, contacted me, gushing about two of her best friends getting married. Agreeing to join them on their journey, I knew that this experience was going to be nothing less than magical.
A complimentary engagement session is included in most of my standard wedding packages. Besides the obvious reasons of why engagement sessions are so great, I really use it as a chance to get to know the couple and to help them feel comfortable in front of my camera. I highly encourage couples to have engagement sessions done with their wedding photographer, as it builds that confidence and trust in the relationship. It really goes both ways.
Frame Park in Waukesha is one of my most favorite places to visit. The grass is lush and well groomed. The trees provide shade to take great photographs under. The river provides a scenic backdrop. The gardens take you away to a fairy tale land of flowers, vines, roses, and trellises. Lindsay and Matt picked out a perfect spot to document their love journey.
